Yeah I know it's been well over a year but I'm back...sorta. I'm working more on my story and trying to get things back on track.

PAGE ONE (3 panels)

Panel 1. NIGHT: Wide, exterior view of a five-story modern apartment building. The building is surrounded by other buildings of various sizes. There are a few people walking on the side walk. Small trees on both sides of the building standing only a few feet taller than an average man.

SASAME (thinking):

Only another mission.

CAP:

This is what I keep telling myself as I try to sleep at night.

Panel 2. Close Up: Sasame lying in bed looking up.

CAP:

I lay awake all night in bed staring at the ceiling fan spinning in slow motion.

Panel 3: Close Up: Ceiling fan of knives spinning with blood raining down

In my mind, the blades of the fan turn to knives. Blood rains down on my face and I can hear the screams of the dead.

SASAME (off-panel):

It’s only another mission.

PAGE TWO (4 panels)

Panel 1. Sasame laying on her side, in bed, eyes closed.

CAP:

The sound my female guardian talking to her husband rings in my ears. She’s planning to go to the summer festival tomorrow, laughing and talking about how great it’s going to be.

SASAME (thinking):

Her voice is so annoying.

Panel 2. Same view, Sasame now has a pillow on her face

CAP:

All I can think about is how blind everyone in this city seems to be.

Panel 3. View of two adults, man and woman, sitting in the kitchen. They are both in night clothes, and the woman is sitting on the table with her legs crossed. Both are laughing and look happy.

CAP:

We try to pretend as if nothing was wrong. This is just our little piece of paradise in this forgotten world. Yet that couldn't be further from the truth.

CAP:

Every year, we host carnivals, festivals, picnics, and pie eating contests. If the semi-tropical weather allowed snow to fall, we would probably host snowball fights in the park.

Panel 4. Human-like shadows standing around, arms reaching forward as if they're trying to grab something in front of them

CAP:

No matter how hard we try to live normal lives, no one can escape the truth: our island will never be safe until the monsters known as the Konadai are gone for good. For this dream to come true, we have to harvest the cure.

I can’t stay in here forever.

Panel 1. Bird's eye view: Sasame walking through a large crowd of people. It's a festival full of small vendors, streamers and lights hanging from light posts, and large banners.

Panel 2. Wide, profile view: Sasame stopping in front of a booth. Sasame's body is facing forward but her head is turned to the right to look at the booth. Part of the booth is in sight as well as other booths and people in the background.

Panel 3. Close Up: a large poster hanging on the front of the booth. Words on the poster: “Protect the city, protect your family. Join the Caara Island Eradication Squad. Together, we can reclaim our island once and for all. Sign-ups will be held every day before and after school.”

SASAME:

Oh, excuse me, I didn't see you there.

KONAN:

Oh no problem, I barely felt it.

SASAME:

Well, I need to go, nice meeting you.

KONAN (off-panel):

Wait!

My name's Yodobashi Konan.

SASAME:

It's nice to meet you, Konan.

Panel 1.Show two boys standing behind Konan. One of the boys is part wolf (Fang). His ears are pointed at the tip. His pupils are black slits and he has long finger nails. He's wearing a white t-shirt with his family's emblem printed on the front. The other boy is normal with short spiky blonde hair wearing a white t-shirt and jeans (Nevin).

SASAME (to Konan):

Who are your friends?

Panel 3. Close Up: Fang and Nevin. Fang is smiling and waving at Sasame.

That’s Fang, and the dumb looking one is Nevin.

Panel 1. Close up on Sasame as she looks over her shoulder and sees a man in a black suit standing in the back ground. He's looking right at her.

CAP:

I feel a tingly sensation, but it’s not from Konan. The feeling is different, an eerie chill. I look over my shoulder and see another man in a black suit staring straight at me.

CAP:

Neither of the boys seem to notice him, and that seems for the best. There’s no need for them to know I have men watching my every move.

PAGE TWELVE (5 Panels)

Panel 1. Upwards view of Sasame, the wind blowing her hair. Her expression shows little emotion as she listens to the boys talk to each other.

SASAME (thinking):

I may have to watch these boys. Something about them just doesn't seem right.

Panel 2. Back view: Sasame with Fang and Nevin in frame facing each other. Booths and other festival things still in the background.

Panel 3. Same view, but another man dressed in a black suit walks in front of Sasame.

Close up on Sasame's face, she's frowning as if she's irritated.

CAP:

I don’t know if it is him or not, but this isn't the time to take chances. I refuse to let him see me talking to these boys; that will only leave three corpses for me to clean up.

Panel 4. View of Sasame running away from the boys. Konan is facing her with his hand held out to her.

KONAN (yelling):

Hey, I never got your name!

CAP:

His voice rings in my ears, yet I pretend not to hear him. I have to get out of here, this area isn’t safe.

Pufiri Brothers

These handsome boys are the identical brothers of the Pufiri family. Their fraternal sister, Maria, is absent from this picture. Antonio, or Tony (left), and Anthony (right) are main supporting characters in my story BREAK.

This picture is pretty simple. The two boys are standing with their backs against a wall with a single light shining through blinds. Anthony is looking at the camera as well as Tony, but his hair is so long you can't see his eyes. Their shirts are the crest of their family, Pufiri. At one point, Anthony had red hair like is brother but decided to add some brown and blonde streaks.

Name: Antonio (Tony) Pufiri

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Height: 5’4”

Appearance: Green eyes, Crimson red hair


Antonio, or Tony as he’s preferred to be called, is the last born of the Pufiri Triplets. Recently he has been chosen as a professor of the Survival class at Mahou and Fighting Academy. Tony really doesn’t want to be bothered with the responsibility of teaching a class, but at this point, he has no real choice.

Tony is a laid-back kind of guy. He doesn’t really talk much and has a habit of only giving the information that he wants people to know. His main purpose in life is to protect all the people he loves; this includes his family, friends, and Carrie Petal. Tony and Carrie have been dating for a few years now. When Carrie’s mother died, the one person she could run to was the son of the man who has her father in his grip.
 
Name: Anthony Pufiri

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Height: 5’4”

Appearance: Green eyes, short brown, red, and blonde streaked hair


Anthony is the first born of the Pufiri triplets by three minutes. He is very lovable toward many people, but he has many secrets that he hides, even from those he cares about the most. Anthony is involved in an undercover research organization; the same one Chiyo was involved in before she disappeared. He knew Chiyo very well and even worked with her on a few projects. After She went missing, Anthony quickly switched branches and began to work on a new research, a cure for the Konadai mutation.

Lin Ming Umino

Let me introduce you to Lin Ming. She is one of the main supporting characters of the story BREAK.  She's a weapons specialist, with a crossbow as her weapon of choice. Lin Ming makes a few appearances every now and again, but she plays a major role. To learn more about her, you have to read the story.

Now in this picture I had to sit back and think on what I wanted to do. Since BREAK takes place on an island, I figured I could throw in a beach shot. I know, the story is about zombie killing and magic but that gets old (I'm kidding).

Name: Lin Ming Umino

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Height: 5’3”

Appearance: Brown eyes, long pigtails main color brown, soft pink lips, round face


Lin Ming is outgoing, caring, and all around lovable person. She is as sweet as she wants to be, she can have a bad attitude at times. She keeps to herself most of the time, not giving out too many emotions.

She has many friends both male and female. Her popularity sometimes gets the best of her, like when she can’t seem to make enough time for herself and family. Lin Ming loves to show off her belief of being different by pulling her brown long hair into two pigtails and then dying the pigtails with red, blue, and green streaks. Lin Ming strongly believes that female fighters can be just as skilled as male fighters or even better. In order to prove this to herself and others she took Omi’s offer and joined the Fallen Angels. Tee-Lin, one of the other members of Fallen Angels, bragged that Lin Ming is the most skilled weapon master that she has ever seen.

Letter from Chiyo

Dear Yuki and Mugi,



This is not our island anymore, we were never meant to inhabit it. The choices I make from here on out are the best I can do. I’m sorry I have to leave on such short notice but its not safe here anymore. Please be careful. Not all things are what they seem. The world we live in is corrupt and I’m the only one to fix it. All I can do now is tell you not to worry about me. The police will try to investigate, but do not let them see this letter. This is for your own protection. The organizations here are corrupt as well as most of the people in charge.

Stay safe you two, and remember that I love you guys, especially you Yuki.

Best friends until death do us part.

Higa Chiyo

Chiyo Higa

This is Chiyo Higa, one of the main characters in BREAK. Really you only read about her in the beginning after she disappears, but she still plays an important role in the story.

Although the story has little to nothing about cars or other vehicles, I like this picture and the way it expresses Chiyo's personality.

Appearance: Brown eyes, short spiky purple hair, soft pink lips, round face

Chiyo is a laid-back type girl who shows little emotion. She doesn’t smile very much, but she will give a smirk when necessary. She is involved in an undercover research organization that does scientific research on the Konadai. Her main mission is to study the Konadai first hand.
Her organization holds many secrets that she must keep. She hides them well, not showing anyone her true side. She really cares for her friends and family and finds ways to protect them.

Break: Welcome to Caara Island

So I've been working on this story/book for over a year now and so far so good. Well now I'm stuck and can't figure out where to go next. Ugh it bothers me. Oh well, maybe if I just read over what I got I'll get an idea.
